Terms and Conditions (Host Agreement)

Introduction

By clicking "Sign Up," you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the relationship between TUROCARS TANZANIA LTD (the "Platform") and you (the "Host").

Vendor Responsibilities

• Vehicle Ownership: The Host warrants that they are the legal owner of the vehicle.
• Maintenance & Safety: The Host is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition, safe to drive, and complies with all local road safety regulations such as Fire Extinguisher, Triangle, Jack & wheel Spanner, Spare Tyre.
• Deliver & Pick up: The Host is responsible to deliver the vehicle to the renter and pick up the vehicle from the renter after the rental period.
• No outstanding Parking fees & Traffic fines: The Host will ensure that the vehicle has no outstanding Parking fees or Traffic fines prior to delivering the vehicle to the renter. The same will be confirmed by the renter and during pick up of the vehicle the renter will ensure the same to the Host.
• Breakdown or Accident: The Host will ensure immediate assistance is offered to the renter during breakdown and in the event of accident, the Host will ensure swift traffic process for insurance claim purposes.
• Documentation: Host must provide and upload valid Comprehensive insurance, registration card and NIDA Card/Passport in Verification section in the Host Dashboard.

Booking & Payments

• Platform Fee: The Platform will deduct a commission of 30% from each successful rental transaction. This will include 10% withholding taxes payable to the Tanzania Revenue Authority under the Host name and receipt will be emailed accordingly.
• Payment Cycle: Payouts to Host will be processed within two business days after the completion of a rental period.
• Cancellations: Host must adhere to the Platform’s cancellation policy. Frequent cancellations by a Host may lead to account suspension.

Liability & Insurance

• The Host acknowledges that the Platform is a marketplace and is not liable for any damages caused to the vehicle by a renter, though the Platform may assist in mediation or insurance claims.
• The platform will ensure the standard rental agreement is signed and accepted by the renter, the copy of it will be emailed accordingly.
• The platform will not indulge in any operational issues.

Termination

The Platform reserves the right to remove any listing or terminate a Host account for providing false information, poor vehicle maintenance, or violating these terms.
